Intro

Hello!
Let's break the 'fourth wall' here & kick the 'third person' out. I am Rahul Rajan, an electrical engineer & marketer based in India.

Born in the southern state of Kerala (also called God's Own Country), I grew up studying in five different states of India. A side note on 'God's Own Country', do visit to know why it's called so. A Malayalee by birth, Hyderabadi by heart & a proud Indian who likes to travel the world.

Currently based in Delhi NCR (National Capital Region), I work with companies in the electrical power infrastructure field including renewable energy segment to help them capture new markets & projects. More on that in the 'What I Do' section. Do check that out. Hopefully you will find it as interesting as I do.

I am a movie buff who likes traveling & is a photographer by hobby. Though, it is difficult to find time for our hobbies while stuck in the daily grind; I have shared some of the photographs taken by me under 'TTL' (Through The Lens) tab for you. A marketer who works with a well defined vision & strategy to contribute towards the growth & development of the company and create value for all the stakeholders.

Have 13+ years of experience in companies providing system integration solutions to defense sector, multi-billion dollar turn-over groups in the electrical industry & renewable energy sector.

Adept in marketing & sales function including business development activities, lead generation & brand positioning. A skilled professional at constructing marketing narratives to engage the clients.

The major markets handled are the subcontinent of India, Africa & Europe for power transmission & distribution projects and renewable energy projects like IPP's & PPP's. The product portfolio experience has included power transformers, distribution transformers, gas insulated switchgears, power cable, compact substations, turbines & renewable energy project solutions. Currently, I am associated with a company providing water-to-wire solutions for hydro power projects with complete electro-mechanical packages.

I am driven by curiosity & entrepreneurial at heart who looks forward to opportunities & assignments which challenge my managerial skills & expertise.
